First of all we are a group of open minded young Amateur friends from the Island of Curaçao who decided to have our own Amateur Radio Group, the station ID is PJ2C and the group name is C.A.R.G.. The name C.A.R.G. speaks for itself, Curaçao Amateur Radio Group. The most important thing about us and our hobby of Amateur Radio is to enjoy learning new technologies, experimentation, meeting new friends, public service. Being knowledgeable in the use of a ham radio opens up a world of possibilities to operators, allowing them to communicate with like-minded individuals and even allows them to communicate locally during emergency situations. Operating a ham radio can be a worthwhile hobby. These devices allow us as license operators to communicate with fellow ham radio operators from around the world. It is a good hobby for youngsters and older people alike and can bring many hours of enjoyment to all who use a ham radio.
